I quit.
We all know that a little bit of flash (pun intended) and pizazz can go a long way towards making sure that our message cuts through the clutter and is remembered by our audience. We've all muttered things under our breath about how much better our company would be doing if we could have afforded $1 million dollar Super Bowl ads.
And there's a reason some of us paid $1miilion dollars for a minute of fame.
Multimedia works!
The scientists
have proven it in labs. Merchants have proven it in checkout lines. Pictures,
motion and sound carry more of our "message" than the words
of our message. About 55% of it to be more exact.
We remember more, up to 300% more, and more of us, up to 30% more, are going to stop what we were doing and take the action that you want us to when your message is wrapped in sound and motion.
Producing and delivering multimedia is no longer the exclusive province of very rich or very talented companies! That means you can also enjoy a higher, positive return on a very small investment of time and money when you engage us in more than one way while delivering your message.
I know, I know, for the longest time I kept saying that over and over on every page of this site, in every speech I gave, everywhere, everyday....sigh. But from now on you won't hear it from me. Like I said at the beginning of this article...I quit.
