Collaboration is the key

Our office is open M-F 8-6pm CST, so we usually don’t respond right away to email sent at midnight. But we do encourage you to send that email right away while your ideas or question are fresh in your mind, because we will respond as quickly as possible.

Our typical project workflow looks something like this:

  • Your first step is to request a quote either by email or phone (815-289-4709). We’ll then discuss details of your project specification and develop our price and timeframe estimate for your review.
  • On acceptance and payment of the down payment, we’ll need whatever materials you have that will aid in development of the content.such as artwork, hand drawn charts, or access to demo programs or files in your network (typically needed if we are creating a training or presentation demo of new software).
  • While you are gathering your materials we may have already begun work on your design, or a rough outline of your script, etc. Once we’ve received all your materials, and have rough work to share, we will schedule either a face to face meeting, phone call or live web conference for a design or storyboard review.
  • Our reviews are deadline checkpoints as well. Typically, we’re able to pinpoint exactly how long we believe the project will take to complete at this review step. If rush service is desired (and even doable) an additional charge may be required and will be discussed here.
  • Actual development of your project could take 3 days or 3 weeks. These are typically collaborative projects and we may be in touch several times during this phase.
  • After we’ve delivered the project to you in the form and format agreed upon, we have an associate who will follow up with a brief survey regarding your project, how it is being used, and what reactions you have gotten. We also appreciate your comments and suggestions on how we can improve our process and services.

We outsource specialized services

We recommend that our clients record their own audio or video from the scripts we produce or help them write. (Your audiences want to hear from you!) But if that simply won't do in your situation, we do work with a number of professionals in the following areas and can either hire them on your behalf, or give referrals. Since they are not our employees, we'll need to factor their timetables and costs into your final project plan.

  • Voice over talent
  • Professional actors
  • Videographers
  • Photographers
  • Graphic Designers (we love to work with your graphic designers to ensure that we’re presenting your image consistently)
  • Offline advertising, marketing and public relations agencies
